Last Monday the 2nd of March, grade 1, 2, and 3 students had the opportunity to enjoy the play «The Empress’ New Clothes», based on the traditional fairy tale «The Emperor’s New Clothes» written by the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen.
Apart from the tale itself, students were able to be part of the play and they also were given strategies to work on the different elements of the story:
- Title: The Empress’ New Clothes
- Characters: Empress, Nightingale, Puyi, Kumiko, Narumi and students.
- Setting: China
- Vocabulary related the play.
- Culture: traditions, clothes, music….
